MAS CAN FONT

Can Font is a Catalan farmhouse from 1900 that the parents of my great-grandparents built on the outskirts of the village of Ventalló. It is a property with an organic agricultural operation, consisting of two houses and a farm behind them. We live in one of the two houses (although we will not be there when the house is rented).

It is a very peaceful farmhouse, away from any traffic, very sunny, and surrounded by cultivated fields.

The main farmhouse (the one for rent) dates from 1900, although we restored it in 2018, adapting it to modern comforts (heating, fans, new bathrooms and kitchen).

We enjoy a quiet life, so if you are looking for a place with Wi-Fi, large screens… this is not the place you are looking for. On the other hand, here you will find a place to enjoy with your companions, relax in a large garden, in the shade or in the sun, take walks around the area, see animals on the farm or in the garden itself (rabbits, chickens, and a lot of birds and nests).

You can reach the village with a 5-minute walk, where you will find a contemporary art gallery, a small grocery store "Ca la Lurdes", a butcher, and a couple of restaurants, "El Teatret" and "La Bassa". A walk around the village is always very pleasant. Ventalló is a small and beautiful stone village.

You can also take a 30-minute walk to reach the river or some small artificial lakes where you can swim or simply enjoy the views.

Wi-Fi is only available in some areas of the garden.
